Sometimes Good Things Unexpectedly Fall into Your Hands; You Can Find a Place for These

Posted on: August 17, 2011

Something that excels in grace of form and potential function should not be left alone for the cycle of progressive mechanical decline to become irreversible. Every now and then it happens that you move into a new place and find inside something completely beautiful, like a darkly gleaming, obsidian black ceiling fan that was left behind by the previous inhabitants. The finding comes as a surprise because you had thought your pre-paper-signing inspection had been more than thorough. But such are the felicities of moving-in seasons.

Well, what if you did find an awesome ceiling fan? Do you know how to at least switch it on? If it's a remote control ceiling fan, and the remote is not in the plainest of views, it might be necessary to expend some not-too-protracted, but still moderately laborious efforts in the search of the missing piece of equipment, if not within the premises, then at the very least inside the local electrical supplies store.

Once your fan is operational -- with a remote control most usefully in your hands, or at least the knowledge of how to correctly pull its dangly, segmented chain into quick action -- its entrancing spinning might prevail upon your will in such a way that you must return to the electrical store to find a few good rustic ceiling fans for another area of your abode, whose stationary air could use a little mechanical circulation. The idea that the new-found benefits of a ceiling fan should be evenly distributed throughout has gotten ahold of your mind.

If you're installing the new stylishly rustic or modern ceiling fan on your own, it's high time you reintroduced yourself to an old childhood acquaintance: the pinwheel. You see, after the fan's been installed, your furniture may need a new arrangement. With the fans securely in place above, turn it on and, holding the pinwheel in your hands, walk about the room it's in. The places where the pinwheel spins like crazy are not the best locations for a desk, for instance. But catching a good dose of a fan-breeze might be very welcomed by someone sitting on a couch to read a magazine or to chat with friends. There you have it, a way can always be found to situate in your home for the treasures that come to you unexpectedly.
